Authorised Mobil distributor, Moove Lubricants, asked Netro42 to completely overhaul its Mobil Service Centre website.

Challenge

The existing Mobil Service Centre website was very dated and underwhelming for users so we were tasked with developing a brand-new, responsive website to include a revamped loyalty programme aimed at enticing new workshops to sign up as Mobil Service Centres.

Solution

Our design and development teams worked closely with the client, interpreting a brief which was based heavily on existing print-based materials, aimed at promoting the Mobil Service Centre, and then translating that content into a user-friendly digital form. This needed to be combined with a certain amount of legacy content from the previous website (which required a degree of fettling and adjusting to work in the new responsive format) while paying close attention to Mobil Brand Guidelines which were followed meticulously throughout the project.

The website’s primary goal was to inform UK workshops about the benefits of becoming an official Mobil Service Centre with a dedicated, password-protected section featuring bespoke content available for members only, including access to a loyalty programme which offers a full range of promotional marketing services.

The secondary goal of the website was to enable the public to check the correct Mobil products for their cars via an online Oil Finder and then search for their nearest Mobil Service Centre via the map-based workshop locator.

Results

Both Moove and Mobil are delighted with the all-new Mobil Service Centre website and Moove’s Business Development Manager reports great feedback from the many workshops signed up to date.

There are many competitors aiming to convert UK workshops to joining their particular brand of car care centre but the new Mobil Service Centre programme has established itself as a key player in the sector – thanks to a website that has succeeded in convincing its primary audience about the benefits of leveraging the Mobil brand for their workshops.
