Congratulations, you have an idea and now you want to utilise
the powerful media of the world wide web to turn it into a

Corporate identity
This is the identity that your business communicates to its
customers. Most important is the logo or marque of your company
which is carried through all other media for example; stationery,
advertising, sales literature and now, websites, intranets,
newsletters and CD Roms.

identity.
Building a brand
If you do not have a corporate identity, Netro42 offer a full
design service in conjunction with our marketing team to build
a brand for you. Many of our clients, when deciding to create
or evolve a website use this time as an opportunity to revisit
their existing corporate identity to maybe modernise it, or
create a brand that is more 'web friendly'- some logos which
look great in print may not work quite as well in electronic
media, Netro42 ensure that all design elements are working
as powerfully as they should be to communicate a cohesive,
targeted message.

Site maps
The home page is usually the first page of a website from
which the user clicks on links/buttons and navigates to other
areas of the website.
The site map is a flow diagram charting the positions of these
pages and where they link to and from. This design is the
first stage of the process from which the website can be built.

maps.
Content
Content is too often underused in many websites. The marketing
has to be right, the design reflects the desired message,
the technical aspects ensure it all works, but it is the content
and business model of the site itself that will decide its
success or failure.
Netro42 therefore advises all clients on copy issues such
as tone of voice, use of headings, sub headings, bullet points,
section breaks, word count, etc.
Netro42 also advise on the use of appropriate imagery whether
these are simple graphic devices, backgrounds, photography
or illustration.
Although there are cost implications to these features the
correct copy and photography place your website ahead of the
competition, which is a primary function of all business media.

These are advertisements placed on other sites that communicate
a message and provide a link from that site to your own site
or a section of your site. These advertisements can contain
photography, animation, video and sound.
